Lockstafältet

Lockstafältet is an impressive ice-front delta that formed at the marine limit. This is where you can find formations that have been formed above or just outside the ice-front on what was then the coastline. There are also formations that were created long after the ice sheet had retreated.

There are eskers — both single and double, collapse pits, dunes, meanders, ravines and fossil streams.
