Geological sites
The geological sites are spread throughout the entire countyofVästernorrland. The county consists of seven municipalities: Ånge, Sundsvall, Timrå, Härnösand, Kramfors, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik. When you click on a particular municipality on the map below, its geological visitor sites are displayed.
You can also use the shortcuts on the left to find the sites. There is a selection of sites for those who are interested in caves, looking for adventure or who would like an easily accessible site, for example. Alternatively, you can use the search engine to look through the sites or fact sheets. Each geological site is marked by the Geology Road logo (the G logo) which you can see on the right. The G logo is on the information and fact sheets associated with the geological sites. The G logo will also show the way on signs and posts in the terrain. Notice!Work is still in progress with the locals. That mean that signs are not yet in place and parking directions may still be missing. |
