About the project

Geology Road is a part of achieving the regional environmental objective of geological diversity. The project should result in a number of geological sites, from exhibitions and facilities out in the field to simple display sites. In the first stage there are about 40 sites in the project. The sites will show examples of both preservation and utilisation of geotopes. Each site will have information material and a geological fact sheet adapted for different target groups. Searches for the sites can be made based on geographic area, degree of accessibility or area of interest.
