A road to geology
The Geology Road in Västernorrland is a project aimed at creating a route into the world of geology. The project contains geological sites which show geological formations and processes or ways of using geology. Information about these geological sites is available on this website; there is basic information about the sites, things that may be useful to know before visiting, what the site requires of a visitor and a description of how to get there. Each site has its own information sheet about its geology. There are also fact sheets available for each type of geological formation, along with suggestions for study material for some of the sites.
The geological sites can be searched for geographical, per municipality, interest, accessibility and geological phenomena or just by using a key word. Welcome! Find your way to an interest in geology! |
